Upper-level is now beginning to “open up” into an upper-level trough which should move through the region today into the early part of Tuesday. This unsettled pattern should be enough to destabilize, initate, and develop some strong to severe thunderstorms.

The heat and humidity will be in full force tomorrow across much of the region will be under a ridge of high pressure. However, an upper-level disturbance will be moving into the region on Saturday bringing a return to showers and thunderstorms across the region.
